From Journeyman to Master

Last night I started reading a book I just received, it is called the pragmatic programmer and it is about improving yourself as a programmer as well as a human being. I just read the preface and the first chapter but I love the book already because the style in which the book is written it is so easy and funny and the concepts that are being presented are very easy to grasp.

The book gives advice on how you can improve yourself as a programmer as well as a human being. Yes, you read it correct, programmers are still human beings! Most of them anyway. The advice that is given is wrapped in patterns, however: you will not see the typical pattern format but rather a lightweight and easy understandable format instead. That is what makes the book a joy to read.

I hope the rest of the book is just as good as the first chapter. That is it for now, expect a review on the book when I have finished reading it. Over and out.
