Very nice, well done!
How can one map liferay’s default portlets, like say blogs portlet, with a custom mapper to get rid of dirty parameters?
Is it even possible to “clean” every nasty url liferay creates with just 1 fix?

Might also be important to know that friendly urls are default mapped to /web by web.xml or portal.properties or someone

The config needs to be added to ROOT/WEB-INF/liferay-portlet.xml or can it be added to portlet’s own liferay-portlet.xml ???

I followed the above steps to have a friendly URL. But i got the following error.

cvc-complex-type.2.3: Element ‘container-runtime-option’ cannot have character [children], because the type’s content type is element-only. Nested exception: cvc-complex-type.2.3: Element ‘container-runtime-option’ cannot have character [children], because the type’s content type is element-only.

Hi, I am developing a friendly url class for document library, so following are my steps.
I created a class inheriting from basefriendlyurlmapper, and compiled it and created a new jar file, placed in the liferay root/web-inf/lib folder. now when I open my web pages, Liferay servlet filter throws exception. Could you please tell me where am i wrong?
