Mission Statement
July 29th, 2007 by Bert Willems
Today I stand at the beginning of my adult life; I am passed my childhood now. I spend quite some time thinking about what I want to make of my life. I compiled all that thought into one statement: my personal mission statement.
Today
Today I am happy with my life as it is: I have a loving, caring and beautiful girlfriend and I have a great, exiting job. I have plenty of friends and family. I am still learning a lot about life, my profession and the environment around me.
Tomorrow
10 years from now I started a family with my girlfriend and we are have kids together. I still love her as much as I do now. I am a software architect by now, doing interesting, exciting and challenging projects. I am a joyful, lovable, loyal friend, colleague and husband and an inspiration to people around me. I am financially independent so I have plenty of resources to contribute to society and I don’t have to worry about financials.
This is my mission statement and this is what I am going to accomplish in the years to come, this is what governs my actions and reactions.
